The  Korda safe zone helecopter bead has been specially designed to fit the safe zone helicopter / chod Kamo leaders. The unique design features a taperd 'head' that eliminates tangles because the bead has no edges to catch on. Around the center the special groove allows PVA tape or string to be tied, so that the bead dosnt move when using heavy PVA bags. The super soft compund, fits securely, but safely so that if it has to, the bead will slide of your leader should your main line break.
